Borja Comenge joins Valencia Basket’s staff as lead assistant coach

Borja Comenge and Valencia Basket have reached an agreement for this coach (Huesca, 16/10/1978, 39 years) to become the lead assistant coach of the Men’s team for the 2018/19 season, helping Jaume Ponsarnau. The Aragonese coach has almost two decades of experience in the bench, including a season as head coach in the Endesa League in front of the Bàsquet Manresa (in the 2013-14 season). In addition, Comenge has an important career as assistant coach in the top category, with a total of six seasons as an assistant in Liga Endesa (four seasons with Lleida and two in Girona) and seven other campaigns as head coach between LEB Gold, LEB Silver and LEB Bronze. His last experience was as the first coach of Força Lleida of LEB Oro, with which he started the 2017-18 season.
